Title: VP of Operations  Location: West Hollywood, CA

Mission: Our client, a producer of premium healthy baby foods, is looking for a VP of Operations to add to their team. This person will work with the founders to secure strategic partners, launch core programs and build a high-performance team.

Expected Outcomes:

Collaborate with the Founder in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs

Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning

Lead the execution of strategies developed by the top management team

Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met

Ensure effective recruiting, on-boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention

Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary


Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field. MBA or similar will be a plus

5+ years of Sr. Operations leadership experience working with co-packers in a start-up environment

Strong understanding of key functions including: Finance, Venture capital, Operations

Leadership qualities and outstanding interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of data analysis, performance metrics and reporting

Experience working in a high growth startup environment
