Title: VP of Sales - Retail Seafood      Location: Home Office           

Mission:          

Our client, a producer of value added frozen and fresh seafood products, is looking for a VP of Retail Sales to add to their team. This person will focus on private label sales activity on a national scale.

Expected Outcomes:

Drive North American retail sales in fresh/frozen, smoked, and deli categories

Expand private label and branded penetration in mass retail, club, and natural channels

Develop go to market strategies for high growth pockets of retail ie deli, prepared foods, grab and go / grocerant, sushi

Collaborate with senior leadership on product development and innovation pipeline

Competencies/Culture:                                                                     

10 years high level sales experience - preferably with strong value-added, frozen and/or smoked

Strong direct relationships with key retail buyers across the US and Canada

Track record of launching new items - branded and retail private label

High level of understanding and knowledge of seafood processing, technology and innovation

Experience on sales forecasting and sales budget

Ability to travel 70%
