Mission:  Our client produces high quality shelf stable food products for retail, foodservice, and industrial channels throughout the US.  They are currently looking to hire a Sr. Packaging Engineer to optimize packaging processes across multiple food plants.

Expected Outcomes:                                                                  

  • Lead process development and optimization activities across multiple food processing facilities

  • Investigating and resolving problems inhibiting the production process

  • Leadership in support of capital equipment projects

  • New equipment integration, operator training, writing procedures and specifications

Competencies:                                                                                                            

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related

  • 6+ years of experience packaging optimization and project management

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Lean Manufacturing experience ideal
