Job Description

Kinsa is recruiting for a:  Key Account Manager                               

Location: San Francisco, CA

Our client is a distributor of artisan food products seeking to add a lover of food and experienced sales professional (that resides in the San Fran Bay area, or near Washington DC/ NYC) to their team .  The mission for the Key Account Manager is to help drive existing and new business growth for flavorful European style pastries with a crispy, flakey texture. 

The Key Account Manager will have responsibility for managing sales activities, adding new accounts, and to develop long term relations with customers.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                         

  • Very competitive base wage with bonus/commission potential
  • Car allowance and fuel reimbursement
  • 401k
  • Vacation and Holiday pay

Responsibilities:

  1. Travel as needed to meet with clients and close new business opportunities
  2. Prepare product samples for customer visits and presentations
  3. Assure that orders are processed and delivered timely
  4. Taking ownership of client relationship management and development

Competencies/Culture:                                                                           

  • 5+ years outside selling to hotels, food service, Universities, and retail outlets
  • Experience working with Chefs and Event Planners, and restaurant Food & beverage Directors
  • Ability to travel 65% plus and jump on a plane when needed
  • Persistent, charismatic, and a love for food
