Our client, an importer and distributor of products for the food & beverage industry, is looking to hire a Sales Manager for their Newark, NJ area facility.  Candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of all sales & marketing plans with the achievement of the sales targets, the enhancement of brand within the market and customers' satisfaction.

Job Functions:

-Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients

-Identify new potential customers and engage in sales contact

-Prepare and present variety of reports and sales statistics

-Participate in company marketing events, seminars and trade shows

-Establish and maintain current and potential customer relationships

-Identify and resolve customer concerns and problems

Required Background:

-4+ years of sales experience, preferably to restaurants

-Experience managing brokers and distributors

-Travel 50% of the time

-Strong organizational skills  

Base + commission, car allowance, benefits
