Quality Associate Specialist, FDA Documentation

Title:  Quality Associate Specialist                                        Location: Between Newark &Trenton, NJ
Mission:  Kinsa is partnering with a company that produces specialty ingredient solutions for the food, health, nutrition and industrial markets.  They are looking to fill a Quality Associate Specialist position. The primary responsibility is to Assist the Associate Director of QA in Developing, managing and continually improving the Quality Assurance Processes

Expected Outcomes:
Prepare self-assessment questionnaires for suppliers, follow up and track them until returned, review and technically assess the content versus Company expectations and regulatory standards
Maintain a list of Material & Suppliers for the following three categories: Initial Qualification, Re-Qualification, Disqualification
Collect the information and data regarding complaints for all US Plants and create report for review by the Associate Director QA
Meticulous documentation
 
Background Profile 
·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food science or Life sciences
·       A minimum of 3-years of experience in Quality functions. Preferred in a Dietary Supplement corporation, or Food corporation, with well-developed QA systems, FDA Regulated Environment
·       Training in FSMA/FSVP, Food Defense. Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification, HACCP certification preferred.
·       Familiar with GFSI or NSF QA Standards and Auditing systems
