Title: QA Manager - Frozen/Refrigerated Seafood                   Location: Seattle, WA            

Mission: Our client, a producer of premium frozen & refrigerated seafood products, is looking for a QA Manager to add to their Seattle, WA team. This person will  maintain and drive Food Safety and Quality objectives for the company's secondary processing activities.

Expected Outcomes:

Implement and manage all necessary food safety and quality programs as required by company policy and applicable regulations

Manage company product quality program including defining and monitoring quality KPI's to maintain product consistency throughout the product cycle

Oversee interface with Regulatory agencies (USDC, MSC, WSDA, GFSI)

Responsible for label review and hold program maintenance

Manage customer and consumer complaints  

Communicate and interface with production, sales and purchasing on all quality issues


Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related field

5+ years of quality leadership experience in a food or beverage processing environment

Hands on experience working with regulatory bodies (FDA, USDA, USDC, NSF, GFSI)

HACCP training/certification preferred

SQF implementation/maintenance experience

Experience managing a team

Working knowledge of seafood regulatory preferred

Experience with allergens
