Job Description

Title: Production Manager

Location: SE Georgia

Our client is a fast-growing high-end specialty food company offering gourmet Italian food products to the USA. The Production Manager is a key technical resource for the production department and is responsible for all aspects of production and inventory for the food manufacturing facility. The Production Manager will report to the COO and will have responsibility for 40-50 production employees on one shift of food manufacturing operations. Great career growth opportunity available to Plant Manager / Director of Operations as this facility grows and adds more lines / shifts / employees over the next 5 years.

  • Supervise production team to meet production standards and KPI’s
  • Ensure compliance of procedures, product quality and production levels
  • Assist with all USDA / FDA government and third-party audits to ensure compliance
  • Maintain equipment and monitor inventory
  • Build a safe environment and culture to develop key personnel

Desired Skills/Background:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in food manufacturing
  • Experience in an FDA environment required, USDA experience a plus
  • Ability to communicate in Italian
  • Passion for artisanal kitchen cooking
  • Knowledge of food sauces and jarring/bottling processes
  • Self-motivated, charismatic, hands-on and proactive
