Title: Product Development Scientist
Location: Chicago, IL
Mission: Our client is a fast-growing, Chicago-based, natural baked goods manufacturer. The mission of the Product Development Scientist is to work with the R&D Manager to develop new products and improve recipes for their category-leading cracker, cookie and bakery mix product lines. This Food Scientist will partner with others in the company to source and test new ingredients, expand product line and commercialize new products.

Competencies/Culture:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related
- Experience and/or education developing similar bakery products (cookies, crackers, mixes)
- Gluten-Free recipe experience a plus!
- Ability to travel 20-40% to implement new products in manufacturing
- Passion for healthy food and ingredients
