NE Regional Sales Manager - Value Added Ingredients

Title: NE Regional Sales Manager - Ingredients Location: Home office in NE Territory
Our client, a producer in premium added value yeast products, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to add to their team. This person will be calling on food or beverage processors to sell value added ingredients.

Grow sales and profits to the food industry, in a profitable and long-term manner, within the assigned territory to existing customer base
Prospect and approach new potential customers and penetrate new markets
Participate actively in the development process and introduction of new products
Implement the defined marketing strategy and price policy per segment
Develop partner relationships with key accounts by being the preferred link between the customers' R&D or Procurement and our Technical support and Management teams
Provide technical sales support and manage application projects by demonstrating how to use our ingredients on-site
Create and animate technical presentations with or without our technical support experts
Manage one broker in the assigned territory
Propose a yearly sales budget for the territory to management, and ensure its realization during the defined period
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance margin growth in commodity products and expand new product opportunities, especially in value added specialty products
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Sales, Marketing or related field
10 years of Technical Sales experience in a food processing environment
Value-Added ingredient sales experience necessary
Technical knowledge of ingredients
Ability to travel 6-70% of the time
