Our client, a producer of premium shelf stable food products, is looking for an HR Manager to add to their team. This person serves as a key business partner to the manufacturing facilities, through reinforcing company core values, driving the employee experience, performance development and accountability, in cooperation with the Director HR in accordance with the policies and practices of the corporation; the ethical and social consciences of business and society; and the laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations.

Responsible for execution of HR functions for facility through close partnership with Plant Director and Corp VP of HR.
Responsible for Talent Acquisition processes for the facility, including job postings, screenings, interview, offer letters, pre-employment drug and background checks, onboarding, I-9’s and new hire benefits.
Responsible for handling and resolving the Employee Relations matters for the facility in accordance with Company policies and in consultation with VP HR and Plant Director.
Responsible for coaching and advising managers and supervisors in relation to employee matters and performance management.
Responsible for collaborating with Benefits Manager to ensure effective and compliant usage of benefit programs, including but not limited to healthcare, 401(k), Worker’s Compensation, and other supplemental benefits.
Responsible for maintaining employee records and other related documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
Ensure compliance in HR matters pertaining to local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
Responsible for conducting exit Interviews of voluntary resignations and submitting results to Director of HR.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field
5+ years of single plant HR Leadership experience in food or beverage processing facility
Must have knowledge and skills in performance management, internal investigations, talent acquisition, career development, and succession planning
Excellent conflict resolution/coaching skills as well as persuasive ability.
Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
