Director of Sales

Kinsa Group, in partnership with a Los Angeles Based Foodservice Distributor, are seeking a Dynamic Sales Professional to join their leadership team.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and maintaining the needed sales infrastructure to support both its current and future operations. Additionally, in partnership with the President, this role will be responsible for the development, managing and implementation of the company’s revenue goals and providing solutions to meet or exceed the business plan. The Director of Sales is a member of the Senior Leadership team and is a critical link between all functional areas of the company.
Oversees the activities of the District Sales Managers, National Account Managers, Business Development
A Bachelor’s Degree is required with a Business, Finance or Marketing preferred. In the absence of a degree, at least 10 years of sales experience in a related field is required; food manufacturing, warehouse/logistics and consumer packaged goods experience strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience leading a sales team.
Effective communication across multiple levels of the organization, with the ability to nurture and develop
3rd party relationships and apply high level conflict resolution skills.
Experience conducting assessments, audits and evaluations to measure current state and future progress and build procurement strategies in partnership with Sales and Operations teams.Demonstrated experience in Negotiation and Sales Strategies.
