Work closely with Marketing and Sales on supporting customer projects & New Business Development.

Responsible for the activities related to the processed meats portfolio of products and development of new ones based on the Strategic Marketing Plan, keeping current with trends and customer requests at optimal cost.

Work cross-functionally with Regulatory & Quality Affairs and QA Managers, lead Continuous Improvement and new product development.

Develop Co-packing network of companies to support capacity constraints.

Background Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Food Science or similar field with 10+ year's product development experience, including a minimum of 5 years managing a team.

5 years' of Retail meat/poultry product development experience with knowledge of trends and hands on formulation and processing development.

Strong project management and leadership skills, able to work multiple projects simultaneously, knowing often times projects/priorities change.

Knowledge of USDA and FDA Regulations, including Labeling and Nutritional facts.
