The Vice President, Marketing will be focused on driving the day-to-day operations within the department, with a strong emphasis on strategic branding, community engagement, and driving store customer counts, development and execution of the weekly ad circular to millions of customers. Critical to this role is a focus on analytics, process and continuous improvement within the department.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

-Optimize all marketing activities

-Collaboratively help drive Marketing & Merchandising to share responsibility for developing and implementing innovative and best in class marketing plans for the business

-Create processes and systems across the department in order to gain efficiencies and effectiveness in the marketing organization

- Oversee and direct all aspects of media buying, including the negotiations, planning and implementation processes as well as all post-promotional analyses

-Explore and analyze new ideas, creative developments and media to gain alignment as to the marketing strategies

Experience desired:

-Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing is required; an MBA is a plus

-10 years or more of marketing experience in a customer-centric, high volume environment, with experience in retailing

-Experience in direct marketing, retail, and eCommerce required; experience in consumer goods and food service companies helpful

-Specific depth of experience in Digital marketing is required

-Experience managing a high volume of marketing projects of a high-speed retail environment

-Technical skills such as excel, Tableau and other BI tools is a plus

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Detail-oriented and operationally-focused

-Strong project planning, tracking & organizing skills

-Ability to perform deep quantitative analysis and modeling

-Working knowledge of the budget and tracking
