Mission:  Our client is a stable, well-established food manufacturer with operations in the Pacific Northwest.  They are looking to hire a Strategic Sourcing Manager at their corporate headquarters.  This individual will be a primary contributor to the Purchasing department's strategic goals.  This position will be responsible for CAPEX and MRO.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Six figure base salary plus bonus

Expected Outcomes:

  • Support/manage $100MM(+) spend

  • Drive procurement activities from initiation to execution phases

  • Drive process improvement and cost savings

  • Assess and select appropriate suppliers and implement procurement policies

Competencies/Culture:                                                                                                           

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related

  • 8(+) years of CAPEX and MRO procurement experience

  • 4(+) years of experience with CMMS/CMMIS systems

  • Experience in creating, negotiating, and administering contracts

  • Understanding of process engineering, facility construction, and design/build of equipment
