Title:  Sr. Packaging & Processing Engineer - Food                                         Location: MN

Mission:  Our client is a growing, well-established and well-respected snack food manufacturer, currently seeking a Sr. Packaging & Processing Engineer - Food.  The Sr. Packaging & Processing Engineer - Food will manage and design large scale automation and packaging projects.

Responsibilities:

1.      Manage projects from inception to execution, including developing design plans

2.      Design automated food equipment systems and production lines solutions

3.      Lead FMEA and risk analysis activities

4.      Improve performance of existing manufacturing systems

5.      Evaluate suppliers and make recommendations for selection based on project needs

Education/Experience:                                                                             

-        Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. MBA a plus

-        4 + years of experience with food automation/packaging projects  

-        Meat industry experience preferred

-        Prior experience leading project teams

-        Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Six Sigma, LEAN, TPM, Continuous Improvement methodologies

-        Ability to travel 50%, mostly domestic, occasional international
