Senior Sales Executive
Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the meat/protein industry with proven sales experience, a demonstrated track record of leadership and over achieving sales quotas. The Senior Sales Executive will develop sales strategies, successfully source new sales opportunities, maintain and expand relationships with strategically important clients and close sales. He/She will be an integral member of the management team and will be tasked with enriching and enhancing a positive company culture. The position will be located at our headquarters in Carlton, Oregon. Limited travel within the Pacific Northwest will be required.
Duties:
: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to generate revenue and grow sales with new and existing accounts.
: Achieve sales and profit objectives successfully through individual and team sales efforts.
: Work in close coordination with management team to create and lead strategic direction.
: Provide support and develop sales strategies to attract new customers and ensure that existing customers receive excellent customer service.
: Maintain and expand relationships with strategically important clients.
: Prepare personalized sales proposals, presentations, and specific programs designed to ensure sales, service, and support of accounts are achieved.
: Recommend changes in pricing, products, services, and distribution by evaluating results and competitive trends developments.
: Provide leadership and support to the sales team.
: Provide subject matter expertise to customers and sales team.
: Establish and maintain customer relationships to grow profitable sales.
: Develop and execute program launches correlating with new customer acquisitions
: Perform daily sales activities, staying in touch with customers and anticipating their needs.
: Interface with Production and Distribution to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

: Developed knowledge of the industry.

Qualifications:
: 5-10 years' experience in the meat industry.
: Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field with three years of relevant sales and industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job experience.
: Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications.
: Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed.
: A valid driver's license and proven safe driving record.
: Ability to lift 50 pounds.
