Background Profile:

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering

  • 10+ years of experience in new ingredient development

  • Technical expert in organic chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, enzymatic biotransformation, and/or separation science


  • Experience in the development of sweetener ingredients

  • Hands on experience in use of enzymes for chemical transformations

  • Track record of new product development and optimization based on optimizing structure-activity relationships
