Title: Sales & Business Manager - Cold and Dry Storage   Location: Chicago Land Area

Mission: Our client, a supplier of frozen, cold and dry storage tailored to the food and beverage industry, is looking for a sales & Business Manager to add to their team. This person will target food or beverage companies in regards to additional storage/warehousing space.


Competitive 6 figure salary

Expected Outcomes:

Manage and sell warehouse space and ancillary services through service development, contract negotiations and customer service and support

Develop new customers for warehouse space and ancillary services

Conduct market research on industry conditions and rate structure in the cold storage warehouse space by maintaining a market condition database

Analyze and recommend long-term strategic initiatives to drive long-term company growth

Work with cost accounting to develop pricing

Special projects as requested or assigned


Bachelor's degree in sales/marketing or related field

5+ years of relevant sales experience targeting food or beverage processors

Working knowledge of warehouse and storage capabilities

Experience in transportation, carrier and brokerage management

Ability to travel about 60%
