Quality Manager

Our client, a premier provider of processing and packaging solutions to the food & beverage industry, is looking to hire a Quality Manager for their Knoxville, TN area facility.  This individual will lead quality management with the plant leadership team to deliver products that meet and exceed customer and plant/corporate standards.

Job Functions:

  • Manage the plant quality management system and food safety policies/procedures

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts

  • Lead the external customer audits, certifications, and any related quality/food safety visits

  • Focus on continuous improvement, and tracking plant quality metrics

  • Monitor HACCP, ISO, and food safety procedures

Required Background:

  • Bachelors in Engineering, Food Science or related degree

  • 5+ years of quality management experience including demonstrated leadership skills

  • Experience implementing and managing food safety policies/procedures

  • FMEA and CCP highly preferred

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification highly preferred
