National Sales Manager, Value-Added Food Ingredients

Our client, a fast growing ingredient company, is looking to hire an experienced sales professional to lead a national sales effort.  This National Sales Manager will be responsible for growing sales of natural value added ingredients.

Location: Home Office anywhere in the USA near major airport.

About the Role:

  • Build a national sales program from the ground up

  • Lead generation and new customer acquisition

  • Manage and grow existing accounts

  • Develop and grow trade show presence

  • Report weekly progress of lead generation and customer acquisition

  • Ability to manage a long sales cycle

Required Background:

  • 5+ years of outside (B2B) sales experience

  • Experience selling value added ingredients in the Food industry

  • Record of sales growth and new account development

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated, focused on reaching and exceeding goals
