Title:  Master Scheduler                                               Location: East New Jersey

Mission:  Our client, a supplier of vitamins and other ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industries is looking for a Master Scheduler.  Responsibilities will include developing a production schedule at an overall level across a multiplex supply network serving the clients business.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Implement a rolling Master Production Schedule which addresses the frozen forecast period, with projections in line with the IBP time fence.  This will take into consideration actual demand, forecasted demand and historical consumption.

  • Balance supply versus demand using appropriate supply planning strategies and identify risks associated with MTO, MTS, and any other materials manufactured in the premix facilities.

  • Escalate supply issues to the Demand and Supply Review Meetings within the S&OP/IBP Process

  • Review sales forecast with Demand Planning Manager on a monthly basis and suggest modifications consistent with knowledge of current or historical demand.

Background Profile

-     Working knowledge of clients products and processes is an asset.

-     University degree with preferred focus on Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or other related field of study.

-     Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements

-     Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbally and written) in English and able to communicate at all different levels in the organization

-     Experience using SAP (MRP / ERP systems)

-     APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
