Produce Strategist (Inside Sales) - Food and Beverage

About the Company

Our client is a multi-site fresh food company with a grand tradition and long history of providing high quality food products to foodservice and retail channels.  They are a market leader committed to offering the freshest and best product available.  

About the Role

  • Responsible for business to business selling of food products to smaller food or beverage manufacturers via phone

  • No travel expected

  • Large portion of the role is providing service and reorders to current accounts/customers

Background Profile

  • Strong customer service skills

  • 1+ year of experience working in the food industry, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or other B2B industry in inside or outside sales, customer service, tech service, or supply chain

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to generate creative solutions via problem-solving skills

  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to influence

  • No degree required
