Director of Foodservice Sales                                       

Location: Home-based role

Mission:  In business for over 25 years our client is a growing multi-plant bakery company with expertise in premium snacks sold nationally.  Currently seeking to add a Director of Foodservice Sales to create long term strategy to succeed in the various Foodservice segments.   This role will be home-based and take the lead in establishing direct business with key accounts in the commercial foodservice sector and build a foodservice business from the very initial stages.

Compensation/Benefits:                                                                      

-       $ Six-figure compensation plus 20% bonus potential

-       401k

-       Vacation and Holiday pay

Expected Outcomes:

-       Establishes and maintains multiple levels of relationships within each customer in order to identify needs and opportunities as well as to provide selling solutions

-       Create broker strategy (national/regional/acct specific)

-       Lead in developing new products to grow within Foodservice segments

-       Will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a broker /distributor network

Competencies/Culture:                                                                         

-  Experience building a foodservice business from the very initial stages

-  Experience designing, revamping, implementing, and managing a broker network required

-   7+ years' experience calling on National and Regional Food Service Chain Accounts directly, not through a broker. Casual, Fast Casual, QSR, Schools/Universities, Healthcare/Hospital, etc.

-   10 years of combined experience in foodservice sales

-   Strong relationship building skills

-    Creative, aggressive, customer driven, and results oriented

-    Bachelor's degree
