CHEMICAL ENGINEER - CA

Responsibilities
: Installation and Certification of HPLC, GC-MS and LC-MS systems.
: Obtain or develop and execute IQ/OQ/PQ documentation for validation of analytical systems.
: Routine troubleshooting and service.
: Perform preventative maintenance and repair in house and onsite.
: Assist in the training of other technicians.
: Regularly scheduled out of town travel required up to 20% of the time.
: Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and three years of related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
: Strong analytical thinker with an electromechanical inclination with experience in an ISO accredited laboratory.
: Microsoft Word and Excel skills (Experienced in writing SOPs is a plus).

Desired Characteristics
: Strong understanding of the validation process with excellent documentation skills.
: Working understanding of FDA regulations, GMPs, GDPs, and PPEs.
: Experience with calibration, service or repair of other laboratory instrumentation.
: Must be a highly flexible and motivated team player committed to working in a quality environment.
