Category & Business Insights Analyst
Title: Category & Business Insights Analyst Location: Irwindale, CA
Mission: Our client, a provider of premium fresh cut produce products servicing grocery retail and foodservice channels, is looking for a Category & Business Insights Analyst to add to their team. This person will be responsible for manage retailer scan (Nielsen/IRI) & consumer panel (infoscout) databases and be the internal expert on these platforms.

Manage the hierarchy and data integrity of retail scan database and consumer panel dataset
Synthesize learnings across data sources to support sales & marketing with white space innovation analyses, consumer/shopper trends, retailer analyses, and other business initiatives
Manage relationships with key data providers
Develop and conduct training sessions for marketing & sales teams in business analysis and tool utilization
Conduct ad hoc analyses and tracking of new category entrants and new item launches to evaluate in market success
Support ad hoc consumer/shopper/category/customer insights projects
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or a quantitative field (statistics, math, research, etc)
Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in an analytical environment, preferably with direct experience working with IRI/Nielsen data in the CPG industry
Excel expert (data manipulation, pivot tables, reporting etc.)
