Title: Accounting Manager Location: NW Texas
Mission: Our client, a leading producer of value added dairy ingredients, butters and creams is looking for an Accounting Manager to manage many of the day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including general ledger, inventory, fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable and assist the controller as needed.
Monitor Lab Operations and Production Runs.
Manage and direct the following accounting and finance functions for the company:
a. General ledger
c. Fixed asset accounting
d. Accounts payable
e. Accounts receivable
Supervise financial staff
4. Mentor, coach, teach, develop and assist the financial staff
5. Assist the Controller in a number of areas, including:
a. Financial reporting
b. Financial analysis
e. Cash management
f. Periodic reporting such as bank borrowing base reports, USDA market administrator reports, etc.
Bachelor's or master's degree with a major in accounting or finance
Minimum of 5 years of overall progressive experience in accounting and financial management
Experience working in an accounting role in a plant environment is preferred
Accounting experience in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, internal controls, and financial reporting and analysis
