About the Role:

Oversee and manage production, quality control, procurement, inventory management, finance, sales and marketing for this food manufacturing company.

Executive leadership responsibility for every aspect of the company's operation; critical role in strategic planning to guide the future growth and development of the brand/company.

: Direct and control day-to-day operations to meet objectives related to raw product acquisition, production, quality, and recovery consistent with cost requirements.
: Answerable for all activities, including both field and plant operations.
: Function independently in achieving required results within Corporate policy and broad direction.
: Assure that production meets quality and recovery cost requirements by effectively directing plant operations.
: Assure that sufficient raw product meeting Company standards is received at favorable costs by overseeing field department activities.
: Assure a staff capable of satisfactory performance by developing and motivating key subordinates.
: Assure minimum accident frequency and severity by implementing a comprehensive safety program.
: Assure efficient plant operations by implementing appropriate operating policies and procedures.
: Assure plant budget goals are developed and met.
: Manage all departments of a food manufacturing facility, including full P&L responsibility.
: Hire and train staff as needed. Ensure effective utilization of human resources by training/mentoring direct reports, motivating consistent performance, appraising performance, recommending salary action and developing for potential promotion.

Background Profile Desired:
: 5 - 7 years of experience in food manufacturing in a leadership role, experience with FDA and/or USDA preferred (small to mid-size company).
: Experience in demand planning/production scheduling; make to inventory, and/or working with a MRP via an ERP software: Working knowledge of Quality Systems such as GMP, HACCP, 3rd party plant audits, FDA/USDA regulations, Vendor selection, and quality improvement methods.
: Working knowledge of Sales and Marketing (sales forecast, sku rationalization, new product development, primary sales channels, etc.).
: Team-player with excellent leadership, interpersonal, poise, and professionalism skills.
: Confident, self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal direction.
: Must be able to analyze and successfully resolve problems in a timely manner.
: Ability to prioritize tasks.
: General knowledge at using various computer programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
: Bachelor's degree is required.
