Our client is a well-respected dried produce processor and supplier of a variety of high quality products experiencing explosive growth.  They are located in the beautiful and scenic Yakima Valley in heart of wine country in the state Washington.

About the role

  • Member of the Company's Senior Leadership Team providing leadership and oversight of all aspects of the division including day-to-day operations, quality, sales and marketing

  • Responsible for establishing / maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment throughout the entire division

  • Responsible for cost standards for the products produced with an emphasis on costing/producing profitability

  • Develop and execute strategies that support and achieve divisional sales goals; actively involved directly in business development

  • Direct the unit's financial goals, objectives, and budgets while setting the overall  strategic direction of the division

  • Meet and collaborate with the Executive Board to develop the goals, priorities, and direction of the division

Background Profile

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 - 7+ years of management experience in food processing company

  • Must have big-picture leadership, going  above and beyond day-to-day operations with the ability to offer business development and increase sales

  • Strong knowledge of food processing production processes, quality and food safety

  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects

  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy that supports and achieves divisional sales goals
